@Interview_Group with respect, and I say this as an officer who has a degree, I feel like mandating post secondary education is about as good an example of institutional classism as I can think of. It’s prohibitive to newcomers and those with limited means. Two cohorts that should be coveted.
1) I had struggles with my own mental health in 2022. I was comfortable talking about it and asking for help - but I understand why many aren’t. I never felt the impact of stigma, but I can tell you I did wonder what others were thinking. It was something I thought about.
3) the one piece of ‘advice’ I would offer upon reflection, is that every little check in or kind gesture (no matter how small) hit home. It meant a lot knowing people were pulling for me, and I will always pay that forward if/when I know someone that is struggling. ❤️
2) I know how lucky I was to have an incredible social network and an employer that supported me - and I appreciate how much more difficult things would have been without both. I had a lot working in my favour that many won’t have.
