52 Division is reporting a rise in pickpocketing, vehicle thefts, and other theft-related incidents this holiday season. Stay vigilant in crowded areas, lock your vehicles, secure valuables out of sight, and report any suspicious activity. Let’s keep our community safe!
This Pride Month, our service @TorontoPolice wishes to reaffirm our commitment to standing with the 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
As a police service, we strive to build trust, ensure safety, and foster a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
Happy Pride Month! 🌈

On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honour the lives lost to anti-transgender violence, each with their own story. Their memory drives us to keep fighting for a world where everyone is safe and seen. Reflect, learn, and remember.
From canvassing neighbourhoods to assisting with missing persons reports, to following up with victims of crime, to simply extending a smile to a community member at a Toronto Police Service event, volunteers make a real difference in this city.
It’s Crime Prevention Week – and we’re committed to the safety and security of those working in and shopping at retail stores. The Retail Safety & Security Guide was launched to share resources to help curb crime.

Thank you to the faith leaders, officers, and community members who participated in yesterday’s #TPSPrayerWalk. @TPSMyronDemkiw and @MayorOliviaChow for joining in @TPS52Div, as we came together for prayer and peace across all 16 divisions.
Today, @TPSMyronDemkiw, @MayorOliviaChow, the Canadian Black Clergies & Allies & faith leaders led the city-wide #TPSPrayerWalk. This interfaith walk, which started 19 years ago in Etobicoke to meet with the community and pray, has now expanded service-wide.
Thank you to everyone who joined us.
