The 19th Morrocan calligrapher al-Qandusi is known for his extreme stylisation of the Maghribi style (left picture). But he took inspiration from medieval examples, such as this Qur'an bifolio (on the right) sold in auction in 2011 and dated from the 11th-13th by radiocarbon.

It’s no news that this year has been terrible in more ways than one to many people across the globe. TPTQ Arabic is one half Lebanese and in light of the events of the last year in Lebanon, starting from the economic collapse which led to the revolution of October 17, 2019 (1/4)

We certainly did not stop doing what we love and continued developing new typefaces.
