Agents can pull full alert context; investigate the flow of funds; and dismiss, escalate, or reopen alerts with a disposition reason, all logged in the alert's audit trail.

This release also enhances agent workflows with portfolio balance in address and entity risk signals; transfer counts and volume over a chosen window; entity names on terminus addresses; and alert filtering by destination address, closed date, and closed reason.

Privacy 🤝 compliance

Privacy is becoming a prerequisite for onchain finance, but privacy-preserving technology creates a new design challenge: keeping sensitive data private while preserving the ability to detect illicit activity.

TRM's approach is risk-based disclosure — surface what compliance teams require without exposing everything. At the center is the guardian, usually the tokenized asset issuer or a designated authority, that governs access to encrypted transaction data. TRM integrates with guardians and uses purpose-built Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) that touch only the data needed to generate risk signals.

Compliance teams see risk signals for severe- and high-risk activity while everything else stays private, and asset issuers and guardians get broader visibility to manage ecosystem risk.

Wrench attacks — violence used to steal crypto assets — are on the rise. @metpoliceuk recorded 17 cases in London in 2024, averaging GBP 660,000 lost each, with kidnapping making up 59% of offenses. Global cases roughly doubled in 2025, to about 70.

Today, OFAC sanctioned Shelbit — citing IRGC-linked transfers and laundering for an Iranian gambling network.

TRM Labs has traced over USD 6.3 billion through Shelbit since May 2024. Its wallets held virtually no balances. Inbound and outbound value matched to within 0.1%, and the operation carries direct exposure to the IRGC, a Hamas-designated wallet, and USD 318 million tied to sanctioned Russian payment network A7.
