Flat out amazing. Late S/N S670 running smooth in the field and in 19 minutes it can have a communication error with the def header sensor and be shut down to an idle, this is getting old putting $950 sensor in to squirt fertilizer in an exhaust system.

@Deere_Salesman I like to inspect combines with a clean grain tank & unloading system & cleaning shoe for sure, engine and main engine gear case/hydraulic valve stack area should be left alone to show oil leaks. Then cleaned after inspection.

@Joe105t @Deere_Salesman The EUI electronic unit injector which had an injector cup installed in the head and coolant went around it to cool it, very similar to Detroit 60 series for sure. Injector fired from pulling the ground and third lobe on camshaft pushing down on it.

@paul_kellogg our 2022 567 was able to get the idle shit down extended clear out to like 120 minutes if I remember right, I figured that was plenty and still shut itself off if forgot about. It’s just a parameter in a controller and no software needed.

Had an old #Johndeere field connect gateway laying around, wired the solar panel and voltage regulator in so it keeps the battery charged. 13.7 volts on a cloudy day.

@dustfrmer He had some 2x6s that had a block nailed to them so the rear (steer) axle pushed the blocks down I beam of trailer frame while he winched. Truck was in neutral and trailer moved, ramps were still under drive tires.

I’ve never seen anyone load a S670 on a stepdeck like this before but we made it happen this morning, like 5 degrees with the windchill it was amazing…
