oh god, anyone that he killed durint his adventurer days are so lucky
imagine having this gorgeous face and exposed collarbone be the last thing you see before getting your throat slit
Lohen SQ - 7.8/10 ✅
.
Nothing groundbreaking, it was a simple but decent story that explored the importance of finding strength within yourself rather than depending on convenient shortcuts, even when you feel at your lowest
I respect Lohen much more now that I understand why he's been craving strength so vehemently to the point of borderline insanity. Bar the trauma Dottore caused (this mf still a menace after death lmao), he's been fighting enemies far beyond his league in the midst of legends which only accentuated his own weakness and feelings of insignificance.
Very relatable in a sense but what I really liked was his growth here as even though his end goal never changed, he learned through Adorno’s passing that it’s not really about becoming stronger, it’s about understanding why he wanted strength in the first place
Seeing more manga canon and getting a deeper look into Varka's relationship with him was the highlight for me though, just wish there was an actual cutscene
