This pro-Pal just called Ed Sheeran’s emotional speech last night “white tears” and damned them as a manipulation to gain sympathy and distract away from Palestinian suffering. I think this is such an inhuman worldview.

When Sheeran cried it was when he talked about being grateful for support and how his friends and family had abandoned him. They didn’t just disagree with him. They cut him out overnight. Went to newspapers. Generated enough hate that he feared for his safety. All for the most tepid of pushbacks.

That isn’t ‘centring’ himself. It’s having a basic human reaction to bullying and threat.

In Israel, you often cannot tell who is Jewish and who is Arab by looking.

The Jewish side said yes to a state beside an Arab state several times, starting in 1937. The other side has always said no to Jewish sovereignty in any part of the Land.

Trying to make this about “race” was the Soviet rebrand in the 1970s. That lie is still doing the work today, especially on campus and increasingly on the Western left.
