Champions on the court and excellence across the district.

Congratulations to the Aldine High School girls’ tennis team, led by Coach Floyd Mayne, and the MacArthur boys’ tennis team, led by Coach Michael Scurto, on capturing district championships. Outstanding performances when it mattered most.

Shoutout to the Aldine boys and the Eisenhower girls, for strong runner-up finishes and representing their campuses with pride.

Even bigger, 14 Aldine ISD student-athletes—seven girls and seven boys—are advancing to the UIL Region II 6A Tennis Championships.

Next stop: Waco.

The regional tournament takes place April 20–21 at the Waco Regional Tennis Center, with matches beginning at 9 AM on Monday.
