San Diego, California — A man parked his 1995 Chevrolet Silverado and discovered his vehicle had been stolen. There was only one key for the vehicle, and it was in the victim's possession. The victim located the vehicle occupied by two subjects. The vehicle was moving, and the victim followed it while calling the police. In addition, the original license was taken off and an Arizona plate was on the vehicle. As the victim was on the phone with police, Officers arrived and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, 44-year-old Evan Baltsas failed to yield to the Officers and a pursuit ensued. Baltsas had a female passenger in the vehicle. After multiple traffic violations, Officers were able to “Stop Stick” the vehicle and it came to rest. Baltsas fled from the vehicle and a Police Service Dog was released and bit Baltsas. A record check of Baltsas showed he had two active felony warrants. Officers searched the black backpack that was in Baltsas’ possession. Inside the backpack, Officers located a small plastic baggie of a white crystallin substance in a small out pouch. A black expandable baton was also located in the backpack. During a search of the vehicle, Officers located two makeshift tools that they determined to be able to start the vehicle. He used the tools and successfully started the vehicle. The victim was notified and arrived at the scene to take custody of the vehicle.

46 year old teacher gets slammed with the most sturn punishment you could receive for her unthinkable actions with a 13 year old boy.

Detectives unravel the disturbing investigation into 46-year-old Caitlyn Rock, a middle school intervention specialist assigned to mentor troubled students struggling with attendance.

Instead of guiding a 13-year-old boy on her caseload, Rock exploited her position to initiate an abusive sexual relationship spanning roughly a year and a half.

​The ab*se finally came to light in when the victim’s mother tracked his late-night movements after he repeatedly slipped out of the house. Upon confrontation, the boy disclosed the ab*se, leading to a forensic interview and an investigation that uncovered hundreds of graphic, s*xually explicit text messages on his device directly detailing their encounters.

​When brought in by Reno Police, Rock initially attempted to deflect blame onto the student—nervously laughing off allegations and claiming the minor simply had a "crush." However, the moment investigators revealed they had already seized the victim’s phone and possessed all their text records, she shut down questioning and asked for an attorney.

​What followed inside that room is one of the most damning sequences captured on camera: seemingly unaware that police interrogation cameras were still recording, Rock used her phone to call her mother and her out-of-town husband. In distress, she admitted to having an "inappropriate relationship with a minor," confessed that detectives possessed all the text evidence, and stated her life was completely over. She spilled the beans on everything not realizing the room was being recorded.

​Rock was ultimately tried on 19 criminal counts—including multiple charges of sexual assault against a minor—and found guilty on every single one. She was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole until she serves 144 years. So she was correct, her life as she knew it is completely over as moves to a new home with an orange jumpsuit for the rest of her life.

I promise you that if this were the penalty universally, people would think twice before acting. This is what tough on crime looks like.

Clever Cardinal

Last Saturday afternoon, in Washington, D.C., an aide to the former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic cathedral in D.C. He told the Cardinal that Nancy Pelosi would be attending the next day’s Mass, and he asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out Pelosi to the congregation and say a few words that would include calling Pelosi a saint.

The Cardinal replied, “no. I don’t really like the woman, and there are issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over certain of Pelosi’s views”.

Pelosi’s aide then said, “look, I’ll write a check here and now for a donation of $100,000 to your church if you’ll just tell the congregation, you see Pelosi as a saint.”

The Cardinal thought about it and said, “well, the church can use the money, so I’ll work your request into tomorrow’s sermon.”

As Pelosi’s aide promised, Nancy Pelosi appeared for the Sunday worship and seated herself prominently at the forward left side of the center aisle. As promised, at the start of his sermon, the Cardinal pointed out that Nancy Pelosi was present.

The Cardinal went on to explain to the congregation, “while Nancy Pelosi’s presence is probably an honor to some; the woman is not numbered among my personal favorite personages. Some of her most egregious views are contrary to tenets of the Church, and she tends to flip-flop on many other issues. Nancy Pelosi is a petty, self-absorbed hypocrite, a thumb sucker, and a nit-wit. Nancy Pelosi is also a serial liar, a cheat, and a thief. I must say, Nancy Pelosi is the worst example of a Catholic I have ever personally witnessed. She married for money and is using her wealth to lie to the American people. She also has a reputation for shirking her Representative obligations both in Washington, and in California. The woman is simply not to be trusted.”

The Cardinal concluded, “but, when compared with President Obama, Nancy Pelosi is a saint.”

Dr. Sukanthini "Suki" Subbiah is charged in Florida with aggravated manslaughter for standing at a pool's edge and watching a child in her care drown for 5 minutes. She then entered the water but did not attempt a rescue.

The activist judge who blocked RFK Jr.'s SNAP reform just got stripped of her gavel.

The 14th Circuit placed Judge Josephine Barron on restricted duty, limiting her to warrant motions and procedural busywork while investigators dig into her finances.

"The court wants to know if she's on someone's payroll," said Chief Clerk Jon Raebro. "Activism from the bench has consequences."

Barron is the third judge this month to face disciplinary action for political interference.
