@NickGrunstad@elitetakes_ Mitch Robinson played good defense he cut off the driving lane for Wemby there wasn’t much space to attack the rim and the Knicks would’ve brought help right away
@Th3Realist0n3 Yep translating across eras and facing different types of defenses is important if Russ had to start his career in the late 2010s and early 2020s would he have been as good? I’m not sure cause he would’ve been forced to throw more MOF and improve his post snap processing vs zone
@Sageof6turtles Cause then they would’ve had more time to draw a play up at the rim to put the Knicks in conflict and maybe get a foul or score the go ahead shot
@Sageof6turtles Yea I think Wemby could’ve attacked the rim on the last possession but it wouldn’t have been easy I don’t think the turnover was really on him Mitch Johnson should’ve called timeout after they got the rebound before the turnover
@UnderdogNFL@NFLSTROUD Baker when he gets to leave Bowles and the Bucs next offseason and he finally gets to go to a contender that can’t draft a QB next year freedom is almost here
@Sageof6turtles KAT went from getting trolled so much in Minnesota and not getting that much hype when he was traded to the Knicks to now being in these convos what a redemption arc
@Sageof6turtles Knicks have a great blend of players(perimeter defenders and hustlers w/ 3 & D upside , elite shot creating PG, perfect modern day center that’s seriously improved defensively, 3 pt shooters, good bench depth at guard , good backup big to rebound and rim protect) Leon Rose🫡
@Sageof6turtles Brunson and KAT duo is gonna be tough to solve for the Spurs especially if Wemby’s struggling offensively the Spurs don’t have two guys that can just get buckets at any moment like them
@Sageof6turtles Yea the Knicks have more reliable scorers and depth off the bench + they have enough spacing they’re also a lot better defensively than previous years KAT has stepped up a lot for them
