Telangana is the only state in India that has decided to set up 150+ fully govt-owned #EV charging stations. Currently, we have about 425 charging stations, with a plan to establish 3,000 by 2025.

- Telangana is the first state to have a dedicated EV policy, providing exemptions from road tax and registration fees. To promote e-mobility, the first-ever Indian #FormulaE racing event took place in Hyderabad.

- Telangana is also the first & only state in India to setup a #PPP model EV charging station, adding public participation into this.

Under the leadership of CM KCR garu and with the support of @KTRBRS garu, the EV industry in Telangana is growing rapidly and will continue to do so 🙏

With the progressive initiatives of Hon'ble CM KCR garu Telangana is implementing solar lighting in villages.

Mukhra (K) Gram Panchayat of Adilabad district have installed 160 solar streetlights with a budget of 25 lakhs.
Mukra K is the first village in the State to generate power on its own. The gram panchayat recently purchased two solar panels and integrated them with the State grid. The panels generate 6 kilowatts (KW) of power which is more than sufficient for street lamps.
