Reporter at @LVNewsdotcom and host of LV Political Pulse. I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today. Opinions are my own and poorly thought out.
My constituents in Lehigh & Bucks Counties don’t want data centers and neither do I. Here’s your opportunity to ask questions regarding data centers or just join the community discussion.
I am hosting a Telephone Townhall on Wednesday, June 10th at 6pm.
Some of that conversation is based on my reporting on the PA-7 race. Bob Brooks dominated the Democratic primary, cleaning up basically everywhere in the Leigh Valley. https://t.co/z2QmTRMtPw
@mike_petriello How much of that conversation is focusing on results and how much is centered on aesthetics? Fan interests and front office interests don't always align.
Everything you're saying is 100% right, but I suspect there's two different discussions here.
It's a relatively early night for the PA-7 race. I'll need to dive into the numbers tomorrow, but it looks like Norco was the difference maker. Brooks got a decisive lead in the mail-in ballots and never looked back https://t.co/BdydTwdV7X

Brooks ran through his laundry list of jobs he's held to pay the bills before calling Ryan Mackenzie a career politician who's never held a real job. "It's time he started filling out an application," Brooks says.
I'm at the Brooks watch party at Artisan, a former railroad station that's been converted into a cheese cellar. One way or another, the Brooks campaign is at the center of tonight's story. Either he wins or he loses despite direct assistance from Gov. Josh Shapiro and the DCCC.
@JasonAddy_LVN Rachel Cuevas has a commanding lead in the 187th District primary, but the night is still early. Partial results show her leading in every precinct in her district right now.
Meanwhile, former Pennsylvania Democratic Party chair Sharif Street isn't faring well in early results down in PA-3. This primary will all but decide the November election - it was the most partisan district in the country entering the year.
PA-03 Dem Primary: First Results (EV in)
🟣 Stanford: 40% (12,868)
🟢 Rabb: 31.3% (9,936)
🔵 Street: 26.3% (8,344)
About 100K more votes to go, probably. Not a great start for Street and stronger for Stanford than I expected, though most of this batch came from before her implosion.
@MrsMcEnoff@JasonAddy_LVN Carol's fishing for voters from a lot of different places. Candidates who want to elect women, the highly educated field, Latinos. She definitely has a path to victory tonight. Heck, all four do. I sincerely don't know what to expect tonight.
Before anyone else literally DRIVES TO THE WATCH PARTY AND HANDS ME A PORTABLE CHARGER, I am going to be okay. I have access to an outlet. To the kind soul who did so, you are a saint.
