You would tell a newer player to just keep playing locals to improve

You would not tell that to a player doing 4 locals a week and struggling to win a skirmish.

@RiftboundMedia @Caravaggio_HS It’s in the guide! But I’ll go more in depth here: Vi and mindsplitter are fine they just contest your units for ratio purposes. So would have to cut a hopeful or rhasa for either of them. Cutting interaction would affect the match up spread I wanted.
