Thank you to @TheVinoMom for your dedication and support to all tiktok users and small businesses for how hard you’ve fought to keep tiktok available in the United States. Thank you for giving us hope and for fighting for free speech and for all of us.

@parkergetajob You mean thank you Trump? Biden was about to let it burn lol

[Tristen Trychon @TTrychon]

@realDonaldTrump thank you for your commitment to the American people.

I’m asking companies not to let TikTok stay dark! I will issue an executive order on Monday to extend the period of time before the law’s prohibitions take effect, so that we can make a deal to protect our national security. The order will also confirm that there will be no liability for any company that helped keep TikTok from going dark before my order.

Americans deserve to see our exciting Inauguration on Monday, as well as other events and conversations.

I would like the United States to have a 50% ownership position in a joint venture.  By doing this, we save TikTok, keep it in good hands and allow it to say up.  Without U.S. approval, there is no Tik Tok.  With our approval, it is worth hundreds of billions of dollars - maybe trillions.

Therefore, my initial thought is a joint venture between the current owners and/or new owners whereby the U.S. gets a 50% ownership in a joint venture set up between the U.S. and whichever purchase we so choose.

[Jeffree Star @JeffreeStar]

Good morning… Never did I think we would be silenced in such a big way.

[Tristen Trychon @TTrychon]

@SAA_Systems @itsnotjazminn The funny thing is tiktok was the singularity forming. That’s why they want it gone

[jazmin @itsnotjazminn]

been jumping from insta to twitter idk how much longer i can do this

[Sen. Bernie Sanders @SenSanders]

SCOTUS is wrong. Last year, I voted against the TikTok ban because I feared Congress getting into the business of shutting down media platforms in violation of the 1st Amendment. If implemented, this ban would impact 170 million Americans who use TikTok for news & entertainment.

🚨BREAKING: TikTok has officially shut down in the United States. I appreciate every single one of you who has supported me throughout the years. Hopefully it comes back soon.

@realDonaldTrump

[Charlie Kirk @charliekirk11]

TikTok is officially banned for all users in America.

Biden had a chance to keep it alive, but he wanted this to happen to overshadow Trump’s inauguration.

President Trump could bring it back online and then broker a historic deal.

Let’s see what Trump does Monday.

Hi @realDonaldTrump Thank you for your commitment to save TikTok. @POTUS This is what you did and the American people won’t forget it. Your legacy is now the President that barred free speech and took away millions of American jobs and disrupted their livelihoods and families.
