Global health depends on countries that choose cooperation, dialogue and shared responsibility. Georgia has long been such a partner.

During my meeting with 🇬🇪 Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on the margins of the @DubrovnikForum, I thanked Georgia for its active support for the @UN multilateralism and for its strong partnership with @WHO at country, regional and global levels. I also congratulated Georgia on its seat on WHO’s Executive Board for 2026–2029.

We also discussed how WHO/Europe and Georgia can further strengthen cooperation in global health diplomacy, while continuing to improve services, advance prevention and make quality care more accessible to all.
