What a great afternoon together with SPROG, a new rocket team from Gießen! Thank you for your visit, your interest on our rocket FRODO-J and we wish you great success in developing your first rocket! 🚀🙌❤️

Last Saturday, we #hiked up the #Melibokus with the #ground #station and rode our #bikes with the #flight #computer of our #rocket for #testing the #communication over a distance >14km. We also collected data of different sensors and had a great time together. What a great day!🚀

We carried the communication module of our new #rocket FRoDO-J up to the top of #darmstadt's #Hochzeitsturm and established a connection to the ground station at campus #Lichtwiese🚀

Some time ago, we had a great cooperation with @3d4classics. By selective laser melting, they can #3Dprint parts out of stainless steel, which can not efficiently be milled. We could thereby reduce the complete structure of a 1U #cubesat down to only two parts!
