In simple terms they fight….. it’s unfortunate that MVP has a style nobody wants to engage with but this is where we’re at. I like mvp but I can agree that the ufc of today is not after these types of fighters.
It’s all about engagement + having that big name
The UFC’s contract policy needs some serious explaining.
Michael “Venom” Page finishes his UFC run 5-1, with 4 straight wins, yet isn’t re-signed.
Muhammad Mokaev was dropped after a 7-fight win streak. Rinat Fakhretdinov was dropped after 6 straight wins. Martin Buday was dropped after 3 straight wins.
Meanwhile, Tai Tuivasa stayed around through a 7-fight losing streak, while Michael Chandler has gone 2-6 in his last 8.
At this point, it feels like the UFC no longer rewards winning.
So what exactly determines who gets re-signed?
@boxingizlife87 @acdmma_ It’s because he understands he’s a brand now, not just a human being. It was sought of like a public apology.
@DTM_Woodworks I keep telling people. Anime was japans secret weapon to screwing up generations of folks. Including their own. Weird folks
@Anlik_Analiz Please I’ll say it myself. As a half Ugandan myself. Uganda is a joke. If you want drink, party, have sex, stay up late and do whatever you want. Uganda is the place, otherwise it’s a mess.
