Some fan art for the Solidcast! One of the most entertaining and funniest podcasts out. You’ll go from Rev making Blaze recite a Christian prayer, to blaze spreading a silicone’s ass open. Keep it up guys 😂

@AnAverageGamerX You said “PS4 era LOOKING game” and when people correct your rage bait you reply with “this isn’t worth ending physical media. That was not a part of your statement. The game visually looks like a PS5 game, even at 30fps.
@EmpatheticGmr I have a pc and a ps5 pro but this will be my first time playing. If it’s as good and as big of a game as people say it is, I need it on the go
@SLAVEKNIGHTX Odyssey 1000%. Odysseys level design has actual structure. In Bananza you can cheese most bananas by flying over most obstacles or using the elephant to just inhale everything. So if odyssey is a 10/10, Bananza is an 8.5/10
@F1lipewx@Edu_arrior@erasmolbj Sandfall built 95% of Expedition 33 in vanilla UE5 Blueprints because a single player turn-based loop is predictable. Building a custom 24-player physics engine that predicts and synchronizes high-speed dynamic collisions in real time isn't even in the same sport.
@F1lipewx@Edu_arrior@erasmolbj The game must compute dynamic item distribution algorithms in real time based on distance splits, current placement, and player count. Making a game where 24 players can unleash unpredictable combinations of items at once without game breaking bug requires relentless iteration
@F1lipewx@Edu_arrior@erasmolbj In E33, real time elements are handled locally on a single machine or in predictable, localized state checks. MKW requires 24 fast-moving vehicles navigating a massive seamless map at high speeds, using precise momentum, jump boosting, wall riding, and drifting mechanics.
@F1lipewx@Edu_arrior@erasmolbj One minor physics miscalculation causes a kart to clip through a wall or fly out of bounds, breaking the game instantly.
@F1lipewx@Edu_arrior@erasmolbj Mario Kart World features dynamic surfaces (water, rails, wall runs, off road terrain, dynamic shortcuts) where dozens of physics objects, kart weight, tire friction, Mini-Turbo charges, airborne trajectories, dynamic track hazards, and item interactions collide simultaneously.
@F1lipewx@Edu_arrior@erasmolbj E33 is not more complex than Mario Kart. a turn based game is fundamentally way easier to develop. Dodge, parry, attack, add values for status effects, etc. Mario Kart World has an open world, physics, and context based mechanics, balancing. That is WAY harder to develop
