2023 CEP works continued...below are before & after pics of 17fway & 4GS remodelling all in natural sand along with linking areas. 14fway bunker remodelling and removal. Now capillary. 14fway was raised in sections to give more visibility of the new bunkers at the green complex.

@RaymondJT1 @KooringalGC If you talking about the fway bunkers on RHS of 14 - turf has been pushed out 11m to widen fway on RHS. The rough area to the RHS which is re growing (90 % there now) was not returfed as we felt it was a bit excessive turfing rough areas that we felt were a fair way out of play.

2023 CEP work @KooringalGC have grown in nicely. Here are before and after pics of 15fway bunker/shortgrass upgrade along with 14GS bunker upgrade.Note incorporated straight edge bunker architecture.Bunkers are now capillary due to being in heavy soils. More 23 changes to come..

CEP works continue @KooringalGC. S.Newman enjoying the sands of KGC. The Aleppo pine trees getting framed up in the background.Many of these grow well in our sandy soils.Time to make them a feature of the course. Replanting of these tree will be part of the revegetation of KGC.👌

CEP works continue @KooringalGC with 14 fway irrigation completed, 15 fway bunkers filled in & a new one roughed in & shortgrass linking completed @ 4/17 & 11/18. Nxt wk sand cap 14 fway, capillary 14 fway bunker, finish 15 fway bunker & then start 17 fway bunker remodelling.

Year 1 CEP works have continued @KooringalGC this week.
14th fairway bunker remodelled. Was 4 bunkers now just one. Shortgrass linking at 4/17 & 11/18 has continued Great to be working with SJM Turf/Civil Shane Newman and @PaulMogford3.

Great to get into some CEP yr 1 works @KooringalGC starting with some more shortgrass linking this week. Works over the next 8 weeks touch six holes with a combination of bunker removal & remodelling, fairway reshaping, shortgrass linking works and vegetation works. Let's gone!

But you have to be able to apply growth regulator regularly from Sept to May, Having the resources to cut short below 10-12 mm is very important in spring summer conditions. It still has encroachment issues like couch.
