@BHelm96112@JoJoFromJerz You have a point there, but if you’re going to look at how many people have left California, shouldn’t you also look at how many people stayed and how many new people moved in?
@astraiaintel I believe Ukraine will win. They are fighting for their own land. That alone gives them the advantage. Plus the Russians seem to be stuck, notwithstanding their meat grinder attacks.
@Saganismm The really awesome thing about this is that it doesn’t just happen at death. It happens every second of every day as we exhale, perspire, shed skin, inhale, drink, and eat. That same constant process of exchanging places with everything else. You are never the same.
@derrickjeter Say it ain’t so, but according to the Census Bureau, San Antonio has a population of 1.4 million to Dallas‘s 1.3 million. I don’t think the San Antonio River is navigable unless you’re considering the barges moving up and down the tourist areas downtown.
@1thread6flags Thank you for posting this. I had a friend who has been deceased for at least a decade, who used to tell me about this and about photos of the sternwheeler. I could never find any photos online, but now I have seen it with my own eyes.
@JoJoFromJerz Great summary of our national reality! This seems to indicate that the default vote for Americans is Republican and that Americans will only vote for Democrats if Democrats demonstrably prove themselves to be a much better option.
@SarcasmMother Wait! Are you saying someone forgot to keep track of the days of the week for the last 5500 years? The Bible tells us earth was created on a Wednesday (the third day). 🤦♂️ Or was the day of rest Saturday? That would mean it was created on a Tuesday. Very confusing. 😂
@DLeonhardt Is there a way to create a subscription based service that would provide access to many small, local papers and distribute revenue to the papers?
@TeflonGeek Re: Climate’s sticker shock. That was an outstanding and highly valuable piece. Will you continue with that topic? I think at some point the rising prices hit a tipping point and the real estate markets in those areas crash. I recommend “The Great Displacement” by Jake Bittle.
