@cjoye Are you expecting an adjustment lower to the APRA interest rate buffer once the peak rate cycle passes or as the falls get extreme and political pressure builds? This would go a long way to arresting the price falls or at least dampening them.
I don’t think this is correct based on what we have seen in the past. We’ve had UBI for the retired portion of society for a long time. People only favor tge cities for work and healthcare mainly. Healthy people don’t prefer concrete jungles especially if they can easily visit it. The reverse is more likely to happen. If work and quality healthcare is no longer restricted to the city people will chose wide open spaces, adventure and peace. None of which are likely to be in a major city. They will visit cities like we visit Roman ruins now.
Technology means access, start to think what is currently locked with no access and that’s what people will want.
@cjoye A lot of people look at this and think it’s nothing. It’s a bit like ocean waves height forecast. Many individual properties will experience drops double the city average and that’s ignoring rogue waves sized individual experiences.
@chrisbrycki I have little doubt the government will change their mind on franking credits and close that “loophole” in the name of intergenerational fairness. Look at how many young adults can’t afford a dividend paying share portfolio. 🤷
@adamlyttleapps I would expect at the very least a reversal of their incessant demand to push all services online considering the community concerns for privacy especially since there appears to be no consequences for the hack.
Australia sounds pretends to be the leader on online safety and even lectured the world leaders at this week’s UN meeting on the topic. Where’s eKaren when you need her?!
Australia has a massive cyber security problem
I discovered vulnerabilities on NDIS service provider websites. Which leaks personally identifiable information about patients, employeers, suppliers, their addresses, first and last name, etc
I reported the vulnerability to the NDIS provider in Feb 2022, March 2022, June 2022. I reported the vulnerability to Australian Signals Directorate's ACSC in 2022. I reported the vulnerability to to https://t.co/sAxZ6PZ0Bc followed all the correct procedures
I checked the URL today and guess what? It's still leaking personal data: 4 years later. The vulnerability is still live. You can still see peoples personally identifiable information from a misformed URL.
It's publicly available. To anyone right now.
I have seen many such cases. But this is the most egregious.
@SawyerMerritt Majority of user walk around with a third party iPhone cover on a phone that’s half the price. What are they going to do with this in the real world. One drop and you crack 3 screens 😂
@signulll They need to pivot to the Everything Travel app. They missed the boat on being the taxi app but still have a recognizable brand & millions of users who spend way more on travel without a taxi. Taxi service is on borrowed time but they can still grow revenue & users by pivoting
@MikePetryOff I’ve been doing this for every client for years. I call it stress testing their position. I model what things will look like if a big loss was permanent or if pension benefits would disappear, I increase their spending massively, etc.
@diogocapela Junk mail folder is 2026 new marketing channel. Dive in your junk folder and start replying and sell them on your product. You’ll have close to 100% opening rate so if nobody buys you know it’s your product or you can’t sell 😂
It’s asking for personal information which will be used to provide the answers so they can’t hide behind words, it’s personal advice & that requires a financial services license along with the legal obligations such as KYC, a statement of advice & let’s not forget all the government fees
@SpachusAus My prediction based on this information is that it won’t do well at all. The sell side of the market is telling you your transparency is hurting them. So why would anyone want to pay you to hurt them? You don’t have product market fit. You do have buyer side market fit.
@CodeWithTamara Yes there has to be a commitment but free consultations are perceived as sales opportunity normally. Back yourself by removing the risk and improve the offer with a guarantee. “… if it’s not the most valuable 15 minutes of your day, week or month then I’ll {risk free value}.
The Greens Leader calls me ‘A rich landlord prick’, We are renting a 2BR renovated inner city Melb apartment with carparking to a single mum and her kids for $120 a week, a lease that started ten years ago and has not had any increase. Not negative geared either.
My wife is a big driver in how our rents are set. She’s also a full time public school Grade 6 teacher who does many unpaid hours of overtime a week, without complaint, and still runs our 3 kid, 3 rescue cat and a rescue dog household with tireless effort. Is she a rich landlord prick too Nick?
Or should you remember you’re on a huge public salary and shift your focus to helping Australia, rather than hunting for social media likes by lashing out at a concerned citizen via a posted video rant full of lies, simply for pointing out glaring problems?
@DHughesy Mate I liked you before you started speaking out but now I think I love you 😘
You’ve been in the public spotlight a long time so you’re no stranger to the pressure so I hope you run for office at some point, how hard can it be to do a better job than Albo. I’d vote for you!
