@GailSimone I don’t think it’s Twitter itself that you enjoy, but the format, and I think as more platforms add compatibility with ActivityPub, we won’t be locked onto one company’s server to keep following our favourite people.
@AllredMD I may be in the minority, but I loved Sorcerers Apprentice. Best “magical combat” I’ve ever seen in a movie. The people who worked on the HP films could have learned a lot from it.
@Arnuyen @PlanetofFinks Does it being in international waters matter? Not criticizing, I know nothing about maritime law and wondered how they determine jurisdiction and spheres of responsibility
@AWeebInNewYork It undoubtedly has… still a really goofy power set to do in motion, and I can almost guarantee that they did test animations of those powers in action and decided to go a different way.
@ChapTaylor2 He was not just an actor on set, he was also a producer and the DA must feel that he and the other defendants are responsible for the conditions that led to the woman’s death.
@GordanKnott@daringfireball Same in Canada, but only for insurance purposes. If you stop in the middle of the road for no reason (or even a bad one) they can charge you with things. There was a case where a woman stopped for some birds and got in trouble because it caused an accident.
@HNTurtledove Mastodon, because it is a federated service. If you join a mastodon instance you are also linked to PixelFed, PeerTube and all the other microblog platforms that use ActivityPub
@DanSlott Whichever role has the fewest lines. I’ve loved him since SG:Atlantis, but he does his best work when he has the fewest lines, or doesn’t speak English.
@D4hz4hn I would not have minded him if he’d been the comic relief. They need to stop focusing the stories around the HUMANS and put the giant freaking robots front and center in the story.
