@lunaticfringefc@secnumbersguy Can you give reason why you think Missouri shouldn't be top 25? They've finished around top 30 in the last 3 seasons, and have a top 25 talent comp. I understand they havent beaten the top teams recently, but I dont think that means theyre not top 25.
@byEliHoff Would love if Dennis went small instead of playing Randall here. Burns should get his minutes but I would have to imagine Pierce can play the 4 and it might open some space for Mitchell to operate. We cant be playing liabilities on offense in March.
@bschaeffer12 Id argue there's no reason Randall is in this game though. Zero threat offensively and now is not the time for growth. Switch Pierce to the 4 and see what happens when we open up the floor for Mitchell when Phillips is in foul trouble? Burns can rotate in, but Randall cant here.
@PowerMizzoucom Was watching the Santa Clara vs zags game and saw something scroll underneath sam bam had 77 points and literally said "thats gotta be a typo" lol
@BracketDom@CBKReport I sort of had mizzou more on the 8-9 seed instead of the 10 as well. The committee does factor injuries right? 2 of our 3 best rated players were hurt during our worst losses (illinois and ku). Torvik has mizzou 30th since Jan 1st and 15th since Feb 1st. Does any of that matter?
@PowerMizzoucom I started having some questions after the Illinois game. I knew not having Stone really hurt this team, and I wasnt sure what 3rd year Pierce was going to look like and I thought he could be a potential difference maker.
@byEliHoff Would love if we sped the pace up just a bit. Get Mark moving in transition and have them bite inside for Pierce / Stone to get some open looks.
@byEliHoff You'll naturally have more fouls in the second half because of how the game is played the last few minutes of the game, but the first 8sh minutes of the second half always feels much different than how they called it in the first.
@byEliHoff This game feels very weird. It feels like we should be up 15-20. We're not playing bad on either side of the court. Offense is getting easy looks and defense is playing well - they're just making high difficulty shots
@PowerMizzoucom Pretty much like this every game in the SEC. They typically let them play in the first half, then the second half starts and its instantly 10 fouls in the first 4 minutes.
@stp_2023@WillieTheTiger "Potential" are you dumb? He was first team all defense in a loaded SEC last year. This take is so dumb on so many levels its hard to comprehend.
