@brucemillington Tbh Bruce, I used to share this opinion if people want to smoke let them smoke (+wherever), however after spending many hrs outside hospitals my view has changed for multiple reasons and if you spent a few hours watching, Iโd say yours would to. Itโs definitely not nasty
@RacingTV 1of the greatest sports, which I now watch from a distance, is in desperate need of a leadership overhaul. It remains stuck in the past in nearly every aspect. While eager to attract new fans, it repeatedly tarnishes its reputation with a series of missteps and avoidable blunders
Rob Hornby banned by an entirely inflexible system for an offence (fail to weigh in) that is clearly an accident
For this he is suspended during one of the busiest weeks of the year- Royal Ascot. Meaning a considerable loss of earnings and key rides
Loss of key rides can have a knock on effect
Fine if he committed a flagrant violation of obstruction on the track for example (deliberate category)
But the casual banning of jockeys is a prehistoric attitude of the haves over the have littles
๐ฃ๏ธ"I actually don't want him to win." ๐
@meg_nicholls97 isn't sitting on the fence with her opinion on the decision to replace @CallumSheppy on Ambiente Friendly in today's @Betfred Derby!
To kick off National Careers Week, weโre celebrating former jockey Thomas Brownโs gallop into a new #CareerForLife! ๐
Keep your eyes peeled for a video interview with Thomas this evening... ๐
