Mehdi Taj — a former IRGC member and allegedly the former intelligence commander of the Isfahan branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — is confirmed to be en route to Canada with a visa issued and may arrive at any moment.
He is entering Canada under the title of head of the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
There are serious concerns, however, that his IRGC affiliations were not disclosed in the visa process.
Members of a terrorist organization are inadmissible under s.34(1)(f) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Failure to disclose such affiliations constitutes misrepresentation under s.40 IRPA.
His visa MUST BE CANCELLED immediately — and if too late, enforcement must occur at the port of entry.
We call on the Canada Border Services Agency @CanBorder, the Minister of Public Safety (@gary_srp), the Minister of Immigration (@LenaMetlegeDiab), and the Minister of Foreign Affairs (@AnitaAnandMP) to take immediate action.

If the goal is to “protect Iranians” from the regime, why are IRGC backed Hashd al Shaabi death squads, already used to help crush protests inside Iran, still safe in Basra and inside Iraq? They kill Iranian civilians and serve Tehran’s terror machine, not any “resistance.” If you are serious about saving Iranians, stop bombing infrastructure and start going after the regime’s proxies. @CENTCOM@IDF
Iran is not the Islamic Republic.
Iran’s civilian infrastructure belongs to the Iranian people and to the future of a free Iran. The Islamic Republic’s infrastructure is the machinery of repression and terror used to keep that future from becoming reality.
Iran must be protected. The regime must be dismantled.
I ask President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu to continue targeting the regime and its apparatus of repression, while sparing the civilian infrastructure Iranians will need to rebuild our country.
With the support of the US and Israel, and above all the sacrifice of Iranian patriots, the hour of Iran’s freedom is at hand.
Long live Iran!
People in Iran are currently being bombed while hoping to finally become free from the Islamic regime that has brutally suppressed its own people. Reports indicate that tens of thousands of protesters have been killed during recent crackdowns, with estimates ranging up to more than 30,000 deaths in just a few days of protests. Hundreds of thousands of people have also been arrested, detained, or injured during these nationwide protests. At the same time, the country has been placed under a severe digital blackout, where internet and communication services were intentionally shut down to suppress information and prevent people from sharing what is happening. For many days people inside Iran have been largely cut off from the outside world. They cannot access reliable information, cannot communicate freely, and many cannot even learn where shelters may be available or how to protect themselves during ongoing attacks and unrest. The situation has left millions of civilians isolated, frightened, and unable to receive basic safety information while violence continues around them. Be the voice of the voiceless Iranian people! #DigitalBlackOutIran
This happened before US & Israel strikes!
Be their voice! Your silence s killing them!!!

@fordnation
Doug Ford, the rally for Qod’s day was a disgrace. Not only was it not cancelled, but an individual connected to the Iranian terrorist regime was reportedly present and participating.
The Iranian regime is responsible for terrorism, oppression, and the killing of its own people. Yet people linked to that regime are able to enter Canada and attend rallies openly.
@MarkCarney_Ego This raises a serious question for your government. Why are individuals connected to a criminal regime being allowed into this country and given space to participate in public demonstrations?
Canadians deserve transparency and accountability.
