Summer semester at #csufedtech is underway! For my first project in our Web Design for Instruction class, I created an animated presentation on Information Literacy and Evaluating Websites for teachers/parents https://t.co/c5v7nBGoCK

Just finished up with @LGates_science and Jennifer Coull's presentation on Designing Creative #STEAM Challenges at the CA STEAM Symposium. Love the idea of the Nature Trail Sign Challenge! I want to bring this to my #ArtAndInnovationLab classroom. #CASTEAM21
After 15 yrs as a classroom teacher, I took the leap into being our site's inaugural Art & Innovation Lab teacher. Working with TK-5th in visual #art, #engineering, #design, and #edtech combines so many of my passions. I've learned so much just a few months in! #csufedtech#STEAM
As I work on planning my own #EdTech PD around the Four C's, this article gives me ways to foster these #21stcenturyskills with teachers so they can do so with their students. #CSUFedtech@An_Wr3n

Happy 90th birthday to @WilliamShatner! 🎈🎁🎂 This is one creative way to celebrate, and it also represents an innovative use of AI. https://t.co/OWe0Z56JUO
An interesting article with strategies for making #change happen at a school site. In education, change is too often proposed as "another new thing" or "either/or," making teachers feel that all too familiar pendulum swing. #csufedtech@An_Wr3n

#SpringCUE session with @tonyvincent about electrifying lessons was right up my alley! Pixelated Pictures, Magic Word, Blackout, and Madlibs strategies to hook students upfront... Perfect for my love of escape rooms!
As teachers we've often attended the one-off #professionaldevelopment. In planning my own #edtech PD, I came across "5 strategies to leave behind". What stood out to me most was that successful PD takes place at collaborative sites! #csufedtech@An_Wr3n https://t.co/KNImrtwPSw
Any other virtual teachers notice a significant dip in student motivation after Winter Break? I have been rethinking so much of what I'm doing with my students as we approach one year away from our school campus. @CSUF_EdTech@An_Wr3n#csufedtech

I have been using images for various math warm-ups more and more over the last few years, especially doing "I Notice, I Wonder." They give ALL students a jumping-in point. This post is helping me expand my tool kit! @edutopia#math#elementarymath

@howie_hua I open up the whiteboard and allow them to doodle while they wait for class to start. Some are top notch doodlers, others play tic-tac-toe with each other. I also have some music playing, which will sometimes cause them to start chatting about the songs/playlist.
student writing doesn't always have to be on a google doc! why not have them write their personal narratives using @googleearth as their canvas? here's a student example: https://t.co/8QQ0jn8Hm8 #kygodigital#edtech
1) Are you creating instructional videos for your courses? A recent study by Mayer, Fiorella, & Stull (2020) have useful design principles to consider incorporating: https://t.co/TUB3Js2Y9A #edtech#id#instructionaldesign#remoteteaching#onlineeducation
