@joedanimation @OculusMedium @Substance3D Normally we would be demo at GDC, AWE, OC7, but not this year due to Covid, which killed our LB VR sales & makes it hard to start new partnerships.
FYI, we even talked to folks at Medium at Oculus about integrating our haptic feedback.
Maybe we'll have better luck with Adobe?

@BOLL7708 @Moike_the_Squid Yep, the fishing demo works great out of VR. Shear feedback has always worked outside of VR (see our GDC videos from 2013), and the fishing reel resistance is applied to the crank.
Yes, our controller contains an IMU, so no external is necessary unless you want 6-DoF tracking.
@Moike_the_Squid BTW, the interaction on the fishing experience is really getting quite good. When you get a nibble, all of my instjncts to set the hook are evoked and Mike a has a great fish fighting sequence once you get the fish hooked. It's been really enjoyable to play test this summer! 🐟🐠
