@British_Airways Thanks for this. Would appreciate an email to get in touch with. Perhaps you could supply over DM? Does not appear to be one available on your website.
@British_Airways Hello! I have already raised my complaint, though have received no response. I understand BA's unwillingness to provide compensation to paying customers, but I would love the opportunity to speak with someone directly.
@British_Airways Salutations! I should be grateful to be placed in contact with whoever presides over complaints. Quite astonished by my recent experience with BA and would appreciate an update
@British_Airways God almighty - I can't *stand* fraudulent activity. Speaking of which, I've been trying to recieve compensation for some rather fraudlent activity on the part of BA. I would appreciate a response, as have been weighing up going to the press.
@14JUN1995 IMO, Gravity’s Rainbow is something of oddity in Pynchon’s catalogue. Cold, philosophically abstract.
Not stuff I dislike in a novel, but don’t necessarily view TP as a master of it.
Later novels much better!
@postanika@spike_art Although comparing Made in Heaven - and it’s reception at the Bienale - to Unersipervised - and it’s reception at the MOMA - would make an interesting case study of their respective eras.
@postanika@spike_art Koons is defined by irreverence, controversy - and persona.
Refik is largely anonymous persona, and earnest both in his art and himself.
Most importantly, Koon’s wears his ideas lightly, and is a reaction against the theoretical. Refik is obsessed with explaining his work.
@baileylikemovie John Ford, John Huston, whatever was going on in Italy, and a bucket of French New Wave.
Also a bunch of recently bankrupted studios taking a punt on new directors, for mid-budget movies - and the freedom to do what they wanted.
@hollowearthterf Won’t mean anything significant until you’ve read lots of Freud!
He’s fun, accessible, mad, and lot more complex/pertinent than given credit for!
@JeremyMonjo Rubbish take. Tom Hardy’s doing a cockney/hard man thing - although completely contrived.
Jarvis is doing a kind of middle class, muscular, Ollie Reed / Richard Harris thing. If anything, I can see him taking roles that a younger Russel Crowe would have had.
Particularly shocking detail here, suggesting reasons why the Mayor and the Culture Secretary might be looking the other way on this. https://t.co/4DdEv0ir2Z
