Back in February when I struggling to paint, and I thought I might just walk away from the algorithm issues and the severe mental block and frustration, and art altogether, there were paintings - good paintings - that didn't make the cut.

Unfortunately this was one of them... 😂

Looking at this now I wish I kept it and figured out how to be happy with it.

I wasn't happy with anything for a few months. I was up all night infront of the easle second guessing every brush stroke. Every brush stroke was symbolic of every decision I'd made in my life - pure frustration. The ideas weren't translating for the first time ever.

In that cloud of self doubt I scrapped some promising pieces. But I can always revisit. That's the beauty of creation and being creative -

We have the power to DESTROY and RE-BUILD 😁
