@TagOrdinary I guess it depends on the point of view that the person is having upon the action normally viewed as a "waste of time" and on what we are getting from the things we do, relaxation, entertainment, happiness, or the self accomplished feeling, just to name some.

@TagOrdinary For example, someone that is in "work mode" watching videos or being on social media can be viewed as a "waste of time" but someone else that is trying to relax or have a good time can be viewed as "productive" because it's getting something out of it...

@TagOrdinary I agree with what people seem to understand about the "waste of time" thinking that not being productive is an issue, but the thing is that there is no such a thing as talking about it on a general pov because of all things we do help us on one way. Let me elaborate a little...

I guess the idea of 'Everything in moderation is good' can be applied here ( with the definition of moderation varying dependent on topic 🤔)

@mariv_art Thank you, yeah, I feel like I having to rewrite the definition in my head now, as the narrative growing up and in the hustle culture we have today is if you not working your not productive, but rest can be productive.

Cuz some say wasting time is not doing productive... at same time what is not productive is also considered leisure.... which can also be considere things self care... but then my mind returns to how those things were not seen as 'useful' growing up.... so are 'waste of time'...
