These items were brought here: children’s clothes and toys, people’s clothing, spoons, bathing supplies, torture implements, prison doors, and drawings by prisoners. Everything you see is real it was used and existed inside the prisons of the Assad regime.
“The walls have ears” is a phrase whose meaning is almost impossible to explain in words to Syrians. But today, the walls are speaking at the Prisons Corner in the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion at the Damascus International Fair, at the exhibition grounds in Damascus.
The Syrian people endured this pain and so much more, and they carried on until they prevailed.
