I express my deep gratitude to President Donald Trump for the historic photos he kindly gifted me with his personal signature, as well as for the warm words he inscribed.
I greatly appreciate President Trump’s steadfast support for the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and for advancing the peace agenda between the two countries and globally. I would like to once again extend my sincere thanks to him for these efforts. @realDonaldTrump
Prezident Donald Trampa şəxsi imzası ilə mənə hədiyyə etdiyi tarixi fotoşəkillərə və üzərində yazdığı xoş sözlərə görə təşəkkür edirəm.
Prezident Donald Trampın Azərbaycan ilə Ermənistan arasında münasibətlərin normallaşdırılmasına, habelə Cənubi Qafqazda və dünyada sülh gündəliyinə verdiyi qətiyyətli dəstəyini yüksək qiymətləndirir və buna görə ona bir daha dərin minnətdarlığımı bildirirəm. @realDonaldTrump
In Washington, President Ilham Aliyev and President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United States of America on the establishment of a Strategic Working Group to prepare the Charter on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United States of America.

Probably many have seen photos of destroyed cities in Karabakh. There is a new book published by Reza Deghati.
Some photos from this book - reminder that the ongoing trial of Karabakh Armenian leaders is not about some abstract crime.
I condemn the defamatory statements by the terrorist regime in Iran against NATO ally Türkiye and Azerbaijan. As is clear from Syria, NATO ally Türkiye is a critical partner to counter the terrorist regime in Tehran.
Azerbaijan's president says he expects Moscow to admit guilt, punish those responsible and pay compensation after plane crash in Kazakhstan. https://t.co/bfIgXdehKR
BREAKING:
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev slams Russia & says the Azerbaijani passenger plane was hit by a missile over Russia and then attacked with electronic warfare methods:
- “The plane was riddled with holes. It completely rules out the version of a collision with birds”
- “One of the things that upset us was that Russia put forward theories about the explosion of some kind of gas cylinder. It showed that the Russians wanted to cover up the issue.”
- “Admitting responsibility, apologizing in a timely manner to Azerbaijan, considered a friendly country, and communicating this to the public - these were measures and steps that needed to be taken. Unfortunately, for the first 3 days, we heard nothing from Russia but absurd versions”
- “The facts are as follows: the plane sustained external damage on Russian territory near the city of Grozny. We also know that our aircraft was rendered uncontrollable by electronic warfare systems”
38 people were killed by the Russian missile strike, 25 of them were Azeris.
🇦🇿🇷🇺
Not mentioning Azerbaijan by @francediplo - it fell very low when even @NikolPashinyan expressed condolences.
At least the @FranceBakou has decency - https://t.co/3grNjNCVLj
People of Kazakhstan🇰🇿 express their sincere sympathies and support with regard to the crash landing of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane near the city of Aktau. Our prayers are with the families of those who lost their loved ones!🙏

Azerbaijani pilot Aleksandr Kalyaninov died as a hero while saving dozens of lives.
The passenger plane was very difficult to control after it was struck by a Russian missile near Grozny.
He made it across the Caspian Sea after having been refused an emergency landing in Russia
The article entitled “Europe’s Azerbaijan gas gambit is good news for Russia” by @POLITICOEurope is nothing but a vile example of disinformation. It lacks professional fact checking and complete with gossips and rumors. The decline of European journalism and media standards to such a low level is, to put it mildly, shameful. European Union treats global media disinformation with particular sensitivity and concerns. It is understandable! But what are the reactions when European media outlets are engaged in spreading fake news and lies about others?
One single fact completely disproves this article: in 2024, Azerbaijan has not imported any gas from Russia. Period! Azerbaijan’s gas production is carried out in cooperation with international partners. The production and export volumes are clearly visible to everyone.
Azerbaijan will continue to contribute to the energy security of its partners based on its existing resources and agreed contracts.
We demand that @POLITICOEurope issue an apology and retract this false article!
@politico
This article claims that a chair at Greta's home costs 8000 euro and made from animal leather. By the way, furniture type leather processing involves oil related products, probably from petrostate dictatorship. Or maybe 'democraticly extracted oil' by nice white Western oil company.
Actually, it does not matter.
What matters is a fuss created around her and radical activists.
People, who devoted years, studying for PhD & making field research, today are overshadowed by teenagers who has not finished high school, or reality star like Kardashian without college degree.
Serious discussion is stygmatized by loud activists, throwing oil on a piece of valuable arts.
And somehow, radical leftist media (I would avoid using very meaningful word 'liberal' as it was misused & misplaced) will call you backward or conservative, while you are actually trying preserve heritage.

First, after, reading the article in @guardian it is clear that @GretaThunberg did not write it. She never talked or studied the situation in Azerbaijan, and the use of word 'Artsakh' clearly indicates who might be behind this article.
Second, let's assume, she wrote it. Then, the question is about the relevance of the content to #cop29. In two months from now, the most powerful democracy in the world, the US, is going to withdraw from the Paris agreement. That should be her and like-minded people's concern.
Third, what prevented the most advanced democracies to move with actions, especially, financing, from cop1 to cop 26 - before it went to Egypt, UAE & Azerbaijan, as she argues, the problem with the hosts.
Fourth, what prevented biggest carbon producers like the US, Canada, Norway & other democracies radically reduce it (and Greta's neighbor Norway actually increases production).
Fifth, Greta's own homeland, Sweden consume energy around 70% above the EU average. At around 12 000 kWh, the country's electricity consumption per capita is the second highest in the EU (2.2 times higher than the EU average).
Sixth, she should inquiry how much damage to environment, biodiversity (deforestation) Armenia caused during the occupation of internationally recognized territories of Azerbaijan, not to say about war crimes, ethnic cleansing and massacres (and Armenia will be hosting #COP17 on biodiversity).
Seventh, Greta in this article demanded the release of war criminals and one oligarch - does even she knows what she advocates for?
Ok, human rights concern should be remain the acute question throughout the world, but cop29 is not about it or, at least, is not about it only.
Thus, Greta's intention is amateurish, at best, and is managed by people with ill-intentions. Worst - just superfucial, not to say stupid.
