@josredfern They reduce the friction between your feet and the ground so you don’t stick to the floor while trying to bowl. Otherwise your feet could “stick” to the floor and you can trip, roll an ankle, or just ruin your shot!

Real answer: I have found it much easier to remain active if it’s something I enjoy doing so like rock climbing, rugby, jiu jitsu etc. Try new things and try to have fun!! Makes it easier to keep going if you like it!
