@MarkJCarney You're wrong on the name, both in terms of its meaning and origin. It doesn't mean "big". And it is common among all Iroquoian peoples, not just the Wendat. In fact, the French recognized the area as Haudenosaunee territory - in fact naming the "St Lawrence" the Iroquois River.
