What a timely coincidence. Tomorrow's my last day for my workplace of 7 yrs. Was bawling my eyes crying because it is sad. But I know it has to happen. Damn. We really are growing up together with TWICE. Will forever support my girls no matter what happens moving forward.

If it’s all true, it’s kinda bittersweet especially for older ONCEs.

Although TWICE as a group probably isn’t going anywhere, it’s like our path that used to stretch on endlessly is now splitting into 9 different paths and although they’re going to run next to eachother, it’s abit hard to describe this feeling 🥲

The girls deserve so much more and if they are taking the step forward, I’m so happy they are. Yet, it also reminds me that people grow up and people change, and that our youth never comes back 🫠

They may still be on the same ship but everyone is looking in different directions.

In these 3 days, I kept tearing up watching TWICE perform because somehow in so many small moments, I saw the past versions of us flash past my eyes. Versions of ourselves that no longer exist as a whole, version of ourselves that I’m starting to forget.

It hit me so many times that we truly are longer 16,18,19, or 21… We haven’t been for a very long time. Something about that made my heart twist a little bit because since when did so much time pass? 🥲

When the title medley was playing, although they were all really upbeat songs, I found myself tearing up alot. Suddenly, I was reminded of memories that have faded at the edges, feelings that I’ve forgotten, friends that I’ve lost and gained along the way. I thought of all the award shows TWICE used to cry while receiving awards in, SMC in their uniforms showing up at events, TWICELAND The Opening where the girls performed to only 1/4 of the audience they do now. So so many of those thoughts came rushing back and I was suddenly consumed by nostalgia.

For a second, I remembered wanting to go back to those days where everything seemed simple. But I realised that going back means erasing whatever TWICE has worked hard to achieve and overcome all these years. When I looked at the TWICE now in-front of me performing with much lighter hearts but still the same passion, I realised that while time may have taken away things like our youths, chubby cheeks, soft gazed eyes, teenage dreams, it also gave back. It gave back confidence, happiness, and bonds that weren’t there before.

Back then, we were all so young, so naive, and taking things for granted. Yet, despite all the changes, I’m glad nothing changed between us❣️

Approaching our 11/12th year, I made a promise to really start treasuring every single moment now. So here’s to the us before, the us now, and the us in the future 🥂
