Ford Fathom would be more compelling and durable compared to Slate. Slate is selling you on inferior and low default equipments whereas Fathom will have BlueCruise standard which Slate will be a hidden expensive product if you want a good vehicle. I don’t ever see Slate vehicles compelling as usually affordable EVs have failed for years because they don’t have good performance, standardized equipments, and it lacks so much just to have a lower cost EV.

The iPhone Air is a product that showcases Apple's engineering and design. It doesn't really have much purpose and again, if I worked for Apple I would discontinue this product. It doesn't sell well, it is just showcasing Apple's high end engineering skills such as the rumored iPhone that folds but it doesn't do anything better than any other iPhone, it will fold as rumored but will it sell a lot of units? No, folding devices aren't useful, majority of people who will need the folding device are doing business work and they will use MacBook Air/Pro or the iPad mini/Pro.
