Lexie & Lindsay Kite, PhD promoting Body Image Resilience 📖Our book is sold everywhere! "More Than a Body: Your Body is an Instrument, Not an Ornament"
Being on Dr. Phil yesterday was surreal! His sincere endorsements of More Than a Body blew us away. We are so grateful for the opportunity to get our work to a new audience and for all who have supported our work along the way! #morethanabody@HarperCollins@harvestbooks
Happy to be included in this AP piece on the fact that digital manipulation of photos isn’t only a media and ad industry standard used to sell unreal ideals, but it is also a personal standard for many people who post themselves online & feel pressure to meet these ideals.
The Official Workbook for our first book, More Than a Body, is finally here! (And the only legit one, despite a few knockoffs). For individuals or for use by clinicians, coaches, and other leaders. Available at the link! #bodyimage#morethanabody

@ask_aubry “Girls learn the most important thing about themselves is how they look. Boys learn the most important thing about girls house they look. Girls look at themselves. Boys look at girls. Girls are held responsible for boys looking. Girls change how they look. Boys keep looking..1/2

Honored to be interviewed by @AubreyNPR for this story about using screen time more mindfully to improve body image. If you’re familiar with our work, you know we’ve been preaching about media fasts for years! If your feed is filled with body-centric content, it’s a game changer.
New research found teens and young adults who even briefly cut time on social media gained self esteem. Try these 5 tips to help them — and yourself — improve screen-life balance. https://t.co/YLISXObFXp

and 2) it is possible to achieve physical ideals—and thus become worthy of happiness, health, and love—with the help of the right products or services. - @TakeBackBeauty, Kite, Lexie; Kite, Lindsay. More Than A Body.
Only 53 pages in, but this book is becoming a must-read.
The new guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics are devastating, harmful, and WILL lead to more eating disorders. And trust me, my colleagues and I have no need for more clients. 💔
We did an awesome interview with @alexandracooper on her #1 @callherdaddy podcast out today.😍We talked all about body image and our book, More Than a Body. Check it out: https://t.co/sdFwj0BYQ4
@CourtneyLTanner WOOF. Someone needs to give him a copy of More Than a Body. With the takedown of modesty rhetoric highlighted. DONT YOU REALIZE YOU ARE REINFORCING THE SEXUAL OBJECTIFICATION YOU CLAIM YOU ARE TRYING TO AVOID?
@mkmariles We are honored to hear this. Thank you! And “thin is in” is only back if we keep perpetuating this lie by saying it aloud and making it real. A few celebs losing weight doesn’t have to mean thin is in again. We have way more options for advocates, ideals & info than we used to!
As we creep back into a world of “thinspiration,” I encourage anyone, particularly women, who struggles with EDs and body image issues to read the book “More Than a Body” by Lindsey and Lexie Kite.
This book has changed my entire perspective of my body and it’s purpose.
