The @PalletShelter team wrapped a productive week in Washington, D.C.
They began the week at the Big City Emergency Managers Meeting—proudly sponsored by Pallet—where local leaders shared best practices for crisis response.
The team also met with @RepTimMooreNC and other congressional offices to discuss @FEMA reform and disaster preparedness, and held policy discussions with @HUD on unsheltered homelessness.

This interim housing unit with a bathroom only costs $48,000 to build. @PalletShelter is one of six companies the state has contracted with to house the homeless. The unit is made of fiberglass and has electricity, heating, and cooling @ABC7
