It's Time!
The first of the Four Horsemen is about to ride! (Rev. 6:1, 2)
“Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come." (Rev. 14:7)
When they can't answer the clear message of this passage, they fall back on, "well it's not scripture anyway."
Jesus mentions TWO conditions for salvation. "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved."
There is only ONE condition for damnation. "Whoever does not believe will be condemned."
Imagine if Jesus would have given TWO conditions for salvation: "Whoever does not believe AND is not baptized will be condemned." Could Jesus condemn a nonbeliever who was baptized? Both conditions would have to be met for condemnation.
Another commenter mentioned Acts 2 which you missed his whole point. "Repent and be baptized... FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS." Peter was preaching what Jesus told him to. "Whoever believes (3,000 jews were now cut to the heart that they had crucified their Messiah) and is baptized (immersion in water, for the remission of sins) shall be saved." (3,000 souls believed, repented of their sins, and were immersed for the forgiveness of their sins, and were then added to the church.
@needGod_net The mental gymnastics you guys go through to uphold your false doctrine is quite amazing. That has got to be the biggest heap of confusion I've seen in a while. As Jesus said, "you have a fine way of setting aside the Commandments of God in order to observe your own traditions."
Dude. I agree with you. But this is pathetic. You say you'll prove it, but then give zero proof and just accusations of something that allegedly happened. Your whole polemic is your opinion dressed up in AI. And to top it off, you state,
"Remember you can't just say something and it be true."
Maybe one day SCRIPTURE will be your foundation.
"If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 4)
@Ashleyhays2089 Oh please. We've been conditioned for 50+ years. Be aware of the deception. It will be Revelation 12 before your eyes. And yeah, we'll be here.
Imagine getting to heaven and being told, "did you really think a dead faith would get you in?" "Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not do the things which I say?" The Scriptures tell us to "work out your salvation with fear and trembling."
But a select few protestants believe no obedience is necessary, on the contrary, obedience is works. But James refutes this false doctrine:
"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? 21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." Trying to get to heaven with a dead faith is like trying to get to the next town on a dead horse. You won't get there.
ALL major artificial intelligence systems — SuperGrok, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini — independently concluded that VACCINES CAUSE AUTISM after analyzing our new 52-page peer-reviewed study.
The 30-year lie that “vaccines don’t cause autism” has officially been TERMINATED.
Yes, Isaac was on the mountain, but he didn't know what was going on. He just knew he was on a journey with his father to make sacrifice. He did not know he himself was the sacrifice. Again, you're doing some serious stretching to avoid the fact that Abraham was obeying God. His faith was strong enough to obey what God said. "By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice." (Hebrews 11)
And now you also seem to be struggling with the fact that God can actually see. God saw what he had created was good. Hagar, the wife of Abraham, called God, "The God Who sees me." "She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” (Genesis 16)
Proverbs says, The eyes of the Lord are everywhere,
keeping watch on the wicked and the good."
You are really only proving my point:
"You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[d]? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone." (James 2)
"With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” (Acts 2:40)
"“But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word." (Isaiah 66:2)
"But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only."
Abraham's faith was not displayed before men. There were no other men around to see his works. It was him his son and God. It was what he did before God that made his faith complete.
What if Abraham just sat at the bottom of the mountain and said "I believe you, God. But walking up that mountain and sacrificing my son is works. So I'll just sit here and believe in you without doing a thing."
Now do you see why faith without works is dead?
"You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only."
@LizzieMarbach If you believe in a gospel that does nothing more than what Satan has done, then you are only deceiving yourself. Satan believes without works, without faithful obedience.
@joshwhitlatch "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation." (2 Corinthians 7:10) Your sorrow toward God should come before a change of mind. And true repentance, results in a change of life.
I agree with Gigi, it's part of it. But it's also the drivers of the UFOs will claim to be our creator and that Jesus was their "space brother" or some nonsense. And I saw you asked her about scripture so I'll give you my thoughts. The first is of course second Thessalonians chapter 2.
"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition"
You have to ask yourself:
1) What deception could deceive the whole world into believing the same thing? Keep in mind our present divided state. I am reminded of something Ronald Reagan once said, I believe in front of the UN. Something like "what if we were threatened by someone from outer space? Would not our differences seem minuscule?"
2) Is there anywhere else in scripture that would show the man of sin being revealed? Yes, in Revelation 13, right after Revelation 12 where Satan and his angels are thrown down to the earth and go after God's people. From our standpoint it will look like an invasion; "First Contact" or Disclosure.
But notice what happens next:
"Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
His very next act is to give authority and power to "the beast," the man of sin. AND THEN, the whole world follows and worships the man of sin, as well as Satan.
So there you have it. The great deception will be the appearing of Satan and his angels as an advanced alien race, who then gives authority to his boy. "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
