Enhancing Learning, Enriching Lives!

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a Coal India Limited (CIL) subsidiary under the Ministry of Coal, has launched Project "Sikshotthan" to create a better learning environment.

With an investment of ₹22.51 crore, the initiative will provide over 20,000 dual desk benches to 809 elementary schools, ensuring improved seating facilities for more than 40,000 students in Sambalpur district, Odisha.
