The 1908 border agreement granted Italy territory extending 60 km inland up to Mount Musa Ali, where Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Djibouti meet. However, Eritrea has occupied illegally the land below Musa Ali (shown in blue), which was not included in the treaty.#FreeAssab
Tigrayan Mothers: Strength in Hard Times‼️
A Tigrayan mother stands on a dusty road. She holds her infant baby close in a cloth on her back. With one hand she throws a stone at a white and green bus. Inside the bus people raise their fists. A man nearby waves a blue and white flag.
These mothers carry their babies and work hard to protect their other sons from forced military round ups while struggling every day to find food water and medicine for their families.
Many mothers feel deep pain when soldiers take their children away. They worry all the time about the safety of their young sons and daughters caught in the fighting.
A lot of mothers have left their homes. They walk long dangerous paths to reach refugee camps or safe places.
Even after all the hurt and tiredness Tigrayan women stay strong. They are the main protectors and the heart of their communities.
In hard moments like this they stand up. They fight with courage to keep their children safe. Their strength gives hope to everyone around them. They show that a mother’s love can face even the worst troubles.
Indian travellers and digital content creators are amazed by the transformation of AA, 🇪🇹.
“Guys, right now I am in Europe. As you can see, the malls and city buildings behind me look just like Europe; you can really feel that vibe. But let me tell you, this is not Europe.”
A vlog from #Eritrea by British tourists shows the country’s ongoing energy crisis: The war in Iran has caused fuel prices to rise sharply from $2 to $8. The Eritrean government has stopped selling fuel in many parts of the country, forcing locals to buy it on the black market.
As a result, many Eritreans have stopped driving cars and have switched to bicycles.
🚨Video: Local People protesting and attacking a bus with stones that was being used by TPLF militias to forcibly conscript children in preparation for war.
"TDF leaders, such as Tsegay Marx and Migbe Haile, are fully engaged in an illegal mining trade. The key broker between Eritrea and the UAE, facilitating the illicit gold trade all the way from Tigray is Fetlework's brother, Dawit Gebreegziabher."

We all Ethiopians must stand together and say #NoMore TPLF! 🇪🇹
Stop the Eritreanization of Tigray!
The TPLF is repeating the same pattern: forced conscription, suppression, & destruction just like Eritrea.
We will not allow our Tigray people to be enslaved by a military junta.
Tigray is crying for help‼️
This is not Afghanistan or Palestine. It is the Tigray region of Ethiopia, where unimaginable horror is unfolding right now.
TPLF oligarchs and their enforcers are dragging young children, barely teenagers, into forced military service, tearing them from their families and throwing them into the meat grinder of endless conflict. Desperate communities are weeping, screaming, and begging for it to stop, but their cries fall on deaf ears. They are powerless against heavily armed killer squads who roam with military weapons, crushing any resistance with brutal force.
The suffering in Tigray is catastrophic: families shattered, children robbed of their childhoods and futures, entire communities living in terror under the shadow of guns and coercion. Yet, shockingly, many Tigrayans in the diaspora loudly proclaim their solidarity with Palestine while turning a blind eye to the nightmare devouring their own people back home. The selective outrage and willful ignorance only deepen the tragedy.
Tigray is bleeding, and the world barely notices.
Reports of forced military conscription in #Tigray are deeply alarming. Mothers in Mekelle are seen crying as their children are taken away for military training by an armed group. How much more suffering must people endure before this madness is stopped? Silence only emboldens further suffering. The people of Tigray deserve peace, justice, and protection. #Ethiopia #HumanRights #Accountability #ethiopianwomen @hrw@amnestypress@UNHumanRights@SweinEthiopia@UKinEthiopia@EUinEthiopia
Somalia dictator Siad Barre once said: “We always support those who are struggling for their freedom. We are against anybody or any state that oppresses people and denies them their freedom.” By his own words, the people of Somaliland have the right to be free and independent.
The Eritrean model of forced conscription is being replicated across Tigray by a criminal and regressive group. These photos were taken this morning in Adigudom, where face-covered militants are seen rounding up young people. Mothers were reportedly crying as their children were taken away.
This must stop. Everyone who values peace should exert maximum pressure on this war-mongering group to end these abuses. #Tigray #Peace #Ethiopia @hrw@amnesty@EUinEthiopia@UKinEthiopia@USEmbassyAddis@IGADsecretariat@_AfricanUnion
"When you hear that 30 percent of [all African] refugees [in Europe] come from this tiny nation [#Eritrea] out of 54 African countries, it shows that you cannot sustain this country on a Sahel mentality for long,” @reda_getachew. https://t.co/6FGqsQfSED
@RadioGenoa If low birth rates are the concern in Europe, why blame immigrants ? Population decline is primarily driven by fewer births. If increasing the population is the objective, shouldn’t there also be more discussion about encouraging native Europeans to have larger families?
If U.S. Prez Trump really understood all the facts surrounding the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam he would take a different line. Best thing US could do is stay out of it and let Egypt and Ethiopia sort it out - which they will eventually. https://t.co/S0hP0SGLQe
