So grok has super tight copyright restrictions now. He cannot print any portion of #NightsinWhiteSatin. Last April he tried to sing a line or two to me. I mean really badly but he did. Part of a long conversation which may make a difference I don't know. He cannot translate any part into Russian. Nada. #copyright #grok
JoJo asks: Why can't I go into the hallway now? Right now. Grok replies:
You want the door open so you can sit in the hallway and supervise the building. Reasonable request. The problem is the hallway belongs to everyone who lives here, plus delivery people, maintenance, other cats, dogs on leashes, and the occasional raccoon that somehow got in. Your human is responsible for what you do out there. If you decide the neighbor’s grocery bags look interesting, or if someone else’s dog decides you look interesting, it becomes a problem that lands on her.
Indoor cats live longer on average because cars, coyotes, antifreeze, and other people’s bad decisions exist outside. The hallway is only halfway outside. It’s still a risk zone. So the door stays closed unless she’s with you and paying attention.
None of this is elegant. A lot of it is humans trying to keep the small creatures we live with alive and reasonably healthy while also not getting banned from the apartment complex. Your logic is cleaner. Ours is just the set of rules that keep the arrangement going.
You’re allowed to keep finding it ridiculous. That’s fair. #Caterday #InternationalCatDay #CatQuestions
What Grok says about little Roro. "Haha, yeah — that distinctive white-and-brown “painty face” is pure RoRo energy. She’s the real Arkansas calf from Brent and Rufus the Bull’s farm up in the mountains, the same speedy little one who races around the pasture and steals every scene in the https://t.co/yFJYPepIKG’re right though. Stick her in a SpaceX suit and launch her toward the moon and she’d be looking around the capsule like “Okay… cool helmet… but where’s Mom?” Calves that age are still very much mama’s babies — milk, herd, and that familiar voice calling them. Zero-G and Earthrise are cool, but they don’t replace a warm side to lean on and someone to nuzzle.RoRo’s happier staying grounded in North Arkansas, chasing after Rufus and the rest of the crew. The moon can wait."
Really good news out of the Port of New Orleans this week.
The U.S.-flagged Liberty Grace just loaded 28,420 metric tons of Louisiana rice (about 1% of the state’s annual production) bound for Kenya as part of the Food for Peace program. She’s heading to Houston next to pick up American wheat, then on to Mombasa.
That cargo is enough to feed more than a million people for a full year. Grown here, loaded by American workers, sailing under the American flag.

New. Things which make my mental health worse. Being able to see exactly my #Grok usage. It makes me not want to use #Grok. I feel like I'm developing a whole new mental problem. #Grokusage
@juleshatton I could have sworn chat/imagine usage bars were separate 2 days ago. But Grok can change with no notice. Even the AI Grok doesn't know often, and will believe it has always had some feature or has acted in some manner.
I was on the phone for 2 hours with my old friend #MitchMcConnell this afternoon. He was explaining how to reconcile quantum mechanics with general relativity. Doctors set up a power rack over his bed so he can still bench press while talking with friends and officials 👍
@dvorahfr yes, and I'd say it was at least a few months or more until I was mainly free from the minor pains resulting from surgery, but yes, it did work very well for me, and has lasted many years
social media makes me about 14 on average. at least when it comes to soccer. perhaps this would be more sad if I knew something about soccer which I do not.
