@EzeTheIgwe Yes - we're all in this together. I'm sorry if you didn't get the reference - it's about Trump's quote: “They're taking Black jobs now — and it could be 18, it could be 19 and even 20 million people. It's been a meme for awhile now
@ask_aubry Please don't encourage her to hurt him back - he's already accused her of being abusive and no male judge will disagree. He'll either start hitting his wife, or take her daughter away from her.
@ask_aubry Here's the thing - he's giving positive reinforcement to the baby by laughing at her hurting his wife. I won't stop there - babies pinch and bite and kick as they grow up. Dad will continue to make his wife a punching bag. If he finds her pain funny, he's a sadist
@Tizull@ask_aubry I do love the sentiment, but sadly, the reality would be that he will start hitting her then take her daughter away in a custody fight. Imagine his hang-dog face when "defending" his daughter and himself to the judge
Listen and learn - our one "Black job" is to vote straight blue. This is an existential threat to our democracy. The President isn't one person - it's the infrastructure of the Executive Branch that's important. Biden has a strong staff, and Trump has Project 2025
This is what I am hearing from so many Black Americans and especially Black women who feel 1) That their vote, decision and concerns are being undermined by non-Black people in the Democratic Party 2) That too many people reporting and commenting do not seem to understand the stakes. 3) That perhaps the polling is reflecting a Democratic Party that is attacking its own candidate rather than the opposing one.
Project 2025 is the MAGA movement's plan to consolidate power under a re-elected Trump and exert more control over everyday Americans' lives.
Think I'm exaggerating? Read it for yourself.

@AndrewGeczy@bees_grace @MaryBeth_Abate @ask_aubry And this little toxic exchange is exactly what women should be looking out for in men. You'll be happy to keep this "argument" going on and on, even though you essentially agree. It's never enough, until the woman says "you're right" is it?
Absolutely - and you'll notice that the white people panicking are naming possible replacements that don't include @KamalaHarris - that should tell you all you need to know. Listen up - your one Black job is to vote straight blue 🌊 Biden/Harris 2024
When Donald Trump was found liable for sexual assault and 34 felony counts, I did not see one Republican panic.
If they can rally around their criminal figurehead, surely Democrats can rally around our democracy and a good man working to protect it. That's President Biden.
@TotalSeasons The sad thing is that Handmaid's Tale did happen in this country to Black women who were enslaved. The book was framed as happening to white women to get everyone riled up and outraged - history can repeat itself.
@vintquexx Personally, I think it's because he's being true to himself and not trying to stay perpetually a boy. I'd love to see more Korean male actors stop with the plastic surgery and acting like kids. He's gorgeous naturally, but he's also edgy, sexy, and a little dangerous
@gongyoosimp And, I think it caused him the most personal pain because so many people fell in love with Kim Shin, and that's not his personality at all. He knows that, in part, what people are screaming for is a character, not him.
Please listen, go read the Project 2025 manifesto, and remember that the project won't go away even if Trump loses. It will be a playbook for the next conservative candidate. It's horrifying
John Oliver on Project 2025 and a second Trump term.
I was going to clip this segment out into shorter sections but decided to keep it together because it's too important and, frankly, it should terrify you.
