@verosestar The fact that this is such a common situation is criminal. There shouldn't be any shame in dropping out/swapping course and yet there's such a stigma around it all. You can't even get a second undergrad loan, even if u figure it out after you've left, ya need to be loaded to go
@verosestar That age is way too young to be shutting doors and deciding your future when we've never experienced anything other than school hell. Can't believe we're still stuck in such an outdated system.
@verosestar Are you me ๐ญ I also picked English in a last minute panic and regretted it at every opportunity. I was literally having this conversation with someone 30 ish who was saying she's always dreamed of going into interior design but never felt supported so did the academic route ๐ค
@verosestar The way 6th form and college pile drive us into doing something academic instead of creative is cruel and misleading. I would have loved to have done something arty, and am now in exactly the same boat ๐ญ
