Made a showreel to showcase my work throughout 3 years of studying in @BuasGames (and a little bit before that).

Last year the demo level I worked on for @Remnants_Sand left me wanting to deliver yet another kind of player experience. Discovering an ancient city!
I looked at ancient Indian architecture, took all the current VA assets we had at the time and used them as buildings blocks.
The cinematic I designed and built using sequencer in #UE5 for @Remnants_Sand. Such a difference compared to the cinematics I made just a few months ago! Excited to learn more and improve next year. @BuasGames#MadeWithUnreal#gamedesign

This one is my favorite. A procedural audio system that feeds parameter values over time. On collision with the arches, each value generates a different audio layer in a slightly different volume and pitch. That way you have nuanced background music that never sounds the same.
@thayoost On collision, a random value within a range gets chosen and the tracks are divided across that range with a fade-in and a fade-out value, so you also have a variation of the track length each time.
Thought I should share some of the sound systems I've been working on this past year. This is a speed adaptation system where the volume and pitch adapt to the player's velocity. #UE5#sounddesign#gamedev

„While on the surface the desert appears asleep, its tunnels and caverns are wide awake.“
Follow us along the ruins of ancient civilizations, where nothing else is left but rubble, danger, and - something greater? Come along and find out!

One of the tools used to make our game.
Do you know what it is ? Is it:
a) a sound cage
b) a photogrammetry rig
c) an incinerator for teammembers who crunch
d) a motion capture rig

"What might be Arlo looking at?"
Hi! We are a group of second year student from Breda University working on our upcoming game, Remnants in the Sand.
Stay tuned to know more about our main character, Arlo and how we used face scan technologies to bring him to life.
