Bankers keep India connected 24×7.
But behind every transaction, target and deadline is a human being, with a family, responsibilities and a life beyond the branch.
A 5-day week was agreed in March 2024, with bankers accepting longer working hours from Monday to Friday.
The demand is reasonable. The commitment is proven. The delay is difficult to justify.
Implement 5-Day Banking now.

@V_P_S_Rathore@nsitharaman This is not Strike with New demands. This is done requesting govt to honour the same settlement only. #5DaysBanking is part of that same commitment only which is being denied even an year after signing the settlement.
Do Not differ strike without #5DaysBanking Notification. If not settled with that choose April 11 as next strike date. April 10, 12,13,14 being Holidays will add to the effect. If still @nsitharaman remains arrogant, just go for Strike on every 1st and 3rd Saturdays from May.

RBI directed Banks to get New locker agreements in Jan'22, anyhow staffs finished before nov'22.
Now in Jan'23 RBI realised their mistake & added/modified new clause, asking Banks to take new agreement again.
RBI messed Up Customers & Banker's life, atleast give time. @RBI

Hey @DFS_India,
When are you going to speak for bankers?
Unions are silent and bankers are witnessing the worst possible phase.
Who the hell gave @PSBIndOfficial to schedule training after 5 PM.
Bankers dont have family or what?
Enough is enough.

Hello @India_NHRC@DFS_India
Why No #WorkLifeBalance in PSBs?
Dear Fellow Citizens,
One community needs your help. In some banks employees are facing huge work pressure. Even upto that extent that an AGM opted to end his life.
Suicides are getting very common.
Rajesh Kumar was from @centralbank_in.
@DFS_India will u people ever speak?
If anybody including Top Executives of any Bank thinks that “ Bank Officers” are slaves then he should read and understand the ramifications of exploiting the employees working under them. They have no powers to override the Constitutional Protection.

The continuous efforts of our govt for reducing the NPAs & further strengthening the health of PSBs are now showing tangible results. All 12 PSBs declared net profit of Rs 25,685 cr in Q2FY23 & total Rs 40,991 cr in H1FY23, up by 50% & 31.6%, respectively (y-o-y).(1/2)
