@AnythingBFC Unless jerry has become a 6ft 6 aerial threat who can Hold the ball up with his back to goal, he's not what we need to compliment Taylor Ennis and bloxham
@Markobfc@AnythingBFC You don't have to look more than 10 yards to his left to find another attacker who does that (not 6ft 3, but neither is Fletch!)
Can understand him leaving to be fair, he'll rightly want the same money Ennis and Taylor are on, but club maybe want a different profile of striker
@BlackpoolFC Fair play, got the results when it mattered. Ridiculous that we can finish 13th and 11 points clear when we still weren't mathematically safe at kick off a week ago
Need to build on that now for next year and have a proper preseason and do what we should have done this year
@BlackpoolFC Credit where it's due again today. As usual we didn't make it easy but another 3 points and another clean sheet. Stepped up massively over the last few weeks, Stevenage aside.
Make it 100% sure next weekend now - I really don't want to have to go to Reading!
@BlackpoolFC@ReadingFC I think I speak for the majority of people that may eventually end up going, I really hope I don't have to be looking at getting a ticket for this in the week before the game because we've not done enough by then...
@BlackpoolFC Really, really disappointing lack of intent or even consideration to attack today. Went for a 0-0 & continued in exactly the same way despite going behind
Exeter "shouldn't" win 3 from 5 so 1 more win "should" be enough, they've won 1 now though so huge pressure back on Saturday
@Mathew_Ashley@GWilliamsss_@DafPritchard To be fair, we've played a back 5 and sat back for months and been dreadful at it, so at least 10-15 other sides we've capitulated against this season wouldn't describe it as difficult.
In completely different ways, the 2 games against Cardiff have been comfortably 2 of our best
@BlackpoolFC Credit where it's due. Defended properly & keeper made 2 fantastic saves to keep it level
Take that attitude & application into rest of the games & should be fine
Players adapted well to the system, rather than being constrained by it. Gave us extra men in key areas when needed
@jakclark95@PaulBoozycrofty@mattywazza It certainly wasn't all his fault you're right, but he definitely didn't help the situation
Gary Bowyer for example took the team from an even lower point and a pittance of a budget and got them promoted during the height of the boycott.
Give it a month and you'll see
@jakclark95@PaulBoozycrofty@mattywazza He means barkuizen not blinkhorn but he's right on clark
The only positive I can think of for appointing Lee Clark is it's not Neil McDonald
But that's like choosing between whether you want dog shit or cat shit smeared on your seat for the rest of the season so it's still shit
@53BFC53@RotherhamUnited Lee Clarke must have been better than Lee Clark then as Lee Clark is right towards the top of the list of useless incompetent managers we've had (and there's some really useless and incompetent managers on that list)
Not sure Huddersfield fans have much regard for him either
@BlackpoolFC Deserved after the effort after the subs. Will need that application and commitment for the whole game to get more results though. Some of the subs showed some of those they replaced what the bare minimum basics are.
4 more wins to go
@RaddersDRFC Really poor comment wasn't really about today, just generally. It's a poor league and you, like us, are down the bottom end of it. Thoroughly deserved your win today, that's not in doubt
This is dreadful, yet again. Change of formation hasn't made any difference, we still look completely disinterested and lacking any fight or ability.
Doncaster are a really poor side and they're comfortably seeing this out without any threat to their lead
@cooksleft The thought of getting a season ticket for next year fills me with dread
I've had one every year (boycott aside) since 1991 & next year is the first I would get one for my 7 year old having taken her to a couple of games (wins, somehow!) this year
I can't put her through this!
This was the table before the horror show at port vale
Everyone at the club should be ashamed of what they have done in 2026
The bad start had been reversed at this stage
This is on evatt, these players & the recruitment team
Take imray out in December and we're already down
@BlackpoolFC It's getting worse. Difficult to solely blame evatt, because fletcher aside noone has performed to anywhere near an acceptable level this season, but whether it's the instructions, motivation or application, it's all severely lacking
Shameful yet again. We've given up as a club
