The problem is that this point is largely moot, and doesn't compensate for the reduction in fighter numbers, for one simple reason: potential adversaries have also been advancing their fighter technology since the end of the Cold War, so the result is still a net negative.
@clark_aviation There are loads of stock images of Vulcans out there, it isn't difficult to just use one of those instead. Trying to pass off AI-generated images as bad as this one is just offensive to one's intended audience.
@fakehistoryhunt For me, the envy is directed at those that flew on the Short Mayo Composite, on its world record flight of over 6,000 miles in 1938. Comprised of the larger S.21 Maia, and the smaller S.20 Mercury. The concept later inspired NASA to use a Boeing 747 to carry the Space Shuttle.

I'm literally envious of everyone who ever got to take a trip in this flying palace, the Boeing 314 Clipper.
Also I want to play with this model.
People of the National Air & Space museum: no matter how much I beg, don't let me play with it, I'd break it.

@joeblillib4090 I'd guess it's an Egyptian tank column that got attacked, given the additional wrecked T-62 in the back left, and the intact one at back right still armed with DShK, Israel usually swapped it out for an M1919 or M2.
@ChungTzuW It was the same with the aircraft used by various countries as well. For example the leap between the aircraft the RAF was using at the start of the war and the end of the war is stark.
@Hush_Kit Helicopter rotor blades can result in a weird oscillating RCS. The exposed engines combined with the tank underneath will likely result in a significant radar return. So my opinion is that it'll be the Sikorsky CH-54 Tarhe.
Tracked two Alpha Jets and an accompanying A-400 from the Patrouille acrobatique de France (the French air display team) on my tracking setup on their way northwards to Lossiemouth.

I don't think I've ever seen an East German MiG-21F-13 in camouflage before, as by and large they operated them in bare metal finish. They only really camouflaged the later model MiG-21s by default.

Textbook example of a HEAT round hitting the side gills of the T-72. The M456A2 HEAT round detonates on the gill at a sub-optimal distance, meaning the round does not penetrate the hull side. The gills were eventually replaced by standard side skirts.
