While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.
Gen. 8:22
Let the climate change, God said it would. He’s in control.
God is gracious and holy.
God is loving and righteous.
God is good and He hates sin.
These affirmations ought to drive the believer to peace-filled obedience.
The variety of theories and “ism”’s that have been contrived and adopted to try to either disprove Scripture or Gods existence begin not with unbiased scientific empiricism that simply finds contrary evidence but this: people don’t want to believe. Not “can’t”, but don’t want to.
We often forget
Our self-esteem and our self-worth are not the goal.
Esteeming the majesty and worth of Christ and considering others as more important than ourselves is.
We often forget
Gods wisdom is much higher than man’s.
Gods power is much stronger than man’s.
Science belongs to God, and it must submit to His will.
Human beings, with our most sophisticated theories and ideas are still fools in comparison to God.
The message of Scripture to sinners is not only “Don’t sin because it brings judgment.” But also “Pursue God because He is SO MUCH BETTER THAN SIN.”
The world needs to hear the positive as well as the negative. They must not only be warned of judgment but endeared to God.
We often forget:
Eternity is longer than the present age.
The New Heavens and New Earth will be much better than the current.
Hell will be much worse than we can possibly imagine.
The path to eternal life has everything to do with God and nothing to do with us.
God has created the world and its institutions, and we do not have the right to redefine them.

The gospel changes everything.
Not just your past, not just your future, but it changes things now.
The greatest need of an unbeliever is the gospel, and that does not change when someone gets saved.
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
Rom 12:10
The aim of the Christian is not self-love or to be loved by others, but to give more honor to others than they give to you.
“As I perpetually feast on Christ and all of His blessings found in the gospel, I find that my hunger for sin diminishes and the lies of lust simply lose their appeal.” Milton Vincent
May your feasting today remind you of the feast you have in Christ, and that He fills all.
A nation that celebrates and codifies sin deserves national judgment and needs national repentance. May the Lord bring the latter rather than the former.
The Christian life is one of death and life.
Death with Christ. Death to self. Death to the world. Death to sin. Physical deterioration and death.
Life in Christ. New life. The hope of eternal life. The promise of resurrected life. Living by the Spirit and faith.
Love both.
Gods mandate to Adam was to take dominion over the Earth, not to allow the Earth to take dominion over him.
Much of the new “green” movement is a guilt-driven idolatry of nature, not a dominion-driven stewarding of Earth.
It is not Godly stewardship but Rom 1 false worship.
