Is it unfortunate for the pro that doesn’t get to the spot, yes. The hard truth is, was that sponsor invite going to move the needle as much as grant, no.

@Daniel_Rapaport To get through last years Q school (2022 for 2023 season) you had to play every round to an average of +6 when adjusted for rating and slope. Usga handicap only counts 8/20 rounds. So to actually play +6 for 12-15 rounds, you probably need to be about a +8 or +9 to even get KFT.
@acaseofthegolf1 Another fun fact. 1 is a par 5. They will probably go driver gap wedge at most. Depending on where the flag is, and how quick they have the greens, you could still eagle or double. Crazy slope, hard to keep it on the green.
@wisco_matt@acaseofthegolf1 Balls are fine, irons only tho. Course built in 1920’s, now encircled by a neighborhood. No room to expand. They will probably only hit a handful of drivers anyway.
